This is your journal key

Every entry is locked with it. To read your journal you paste this key in. Nobody can recover it: not the app, not an admin. Lose it and your entries stay sealed forever.

Save it in your password manager (for example as a secure note named "Sealed journal key"). A second copy somewhere safe and offline is a good idea.

Check your key

Paste the key from where you saved it. This makes sure the copy you kept is complete.
